Support & Care
Our mission is to facilitate care for First Reformed Church members, the pastors, and our staff who are coping with illness, death, bereavement, personal crises, or those who are unable to attend regular Sunday services.
Our committee, along with other volunteer congregational members, coordinates the support & care of our church family by: setting up Memorial receptions; delivering flowers ; preparing and delivering meals when needed; sending out cards and notes of support; volunteering as Friendly Church visitors via a home visit or by telephone; knitting prayer shawls and baptismal blankets; originating our Prayer Chain; and consulting with the Pastoral Care group concerning congregational needs. The Stephen Ministry program is a one-on-one confidential care giving ministry for all our congregation.

Creation Care
We commit to taking care of Creation a central priority in our congregation; to purposefully and profoundly renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation.
